1. RahXephon - 26 episode anime based around Mayan Culture, the 2012 end date, music, the ties that bind, and how two people really can make a difference.
2. How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM)- Ongoing series that finished up its fourth season. Friendship and love in the city of New York and one man's tale of how he had to become the man he needed to be in order to meet his children's mother.
3. Eureka - A town in Oregon, a haven for geniuses, and the sheriff who found himself tangled in the middle of it all. As the tagline goes "Small town, big secrets." Season three in progress on Sci-Fi with new episodes starting on July 10th.
4. Trigun - 26 episode series. A desert planet in the far future. On it walks a man who leaves destruction in his wake. A man with a sixty billion double dollar bounty on his head. That man is Vash the Stampede. But who is this legendary gunman and how did we all end up on this dry ball of sand? Based of the manga series of the same name (Two volumes as Trigun, but becomes the fourteen volume Trigun Maximum manga series... continuation of the first two volumes of manga, the creator had to change the name slightly.)
5. Moonlight - A sadly short-lived series about vampires in Los Angeles. Luckily there are ways for the show to live on... fanfiction, yes please.
6. Fringe - Just finished up its freshman season. A show about three people struggling to find about the people who are using the world as their own lab for their horrific experiments. Fathers and sons, lovers, and the bonds that connect us all. Odd, but fun.
7. Avatar: The Last Airbender - Epic cartoon, three seasons, now complete. It doesn't matter what age you are, you will love the story of Aang, the Avatar, and everyone he meets. And Sokkka is awesomeness incarnate. Like an animated Barney Stinson, this boy's a pimp.
8. Princess Tutu - 26 episode anime. Childish name, amazing sweeping storyline of a duck turned into a girl, a prince without a heart, a knight looking for answers, and a girl torn between her feelings and duty. Plus, it takes place inside of a town where stories and reality intertwine. What is story and what is truth in Gold Crown Town?
9. Fullmetal Alchemist - A 51 episode anime with a follow up movie. The story of two brothers trying to regain what they lost through the power of alchemy. Several of these episodes will tug at your heartstrings.
10. NCIS - Awesome spin-off series that turned out even more amazing than the original (JAG). Duck and Abby rock my socks.

The first time I won a contest was for the Elementary School Halloween Poster contest. I won 1st place for my haunted school theme. I got a ribbon and a gift certificate for a restaurant near us. It was neat... out of all of the pictures everyone at school did for the posters and I, a little first grader (I'm not kidding about the little part, I was a nice little stick of a girl with white blond hair with a reddish patch at the top and huge green eyes.) won it. I was so proud. But then the dumbass janitor threw my prize-winning poster away before I could claim it. I was so made. It seems all of the brilliant art stuff I put on display in my elementary school days wound up getting destroyed. It makes me sad.

I am a graphic artist. I have experience with creating Ads and Brochures. This was our Final Assignment for Digital Productions and I'm proud to say that I got a perfect score on it. The assignment was do a full page Ad for an actual non-profit organization or museum exhibit. Most people did a mismash of images and text. I blew the teacher away by handing in this... something you would expect to see you staring at you in an magazine. Course it was a bit unfair for her to expect the same level of work from me as her other students (you know, beginners stuff). See, 1) I'm a former Multimedia Major, so I know my way around the Adobe Software Suite and 2) I'm from a family of artists and musicians. We know when something is good. This is for a travelling exhibit on DNA that came through here. I figured to project my ad at the older audience, hence black, silver-grey, and red for a classy feel. I shrunk the actual image size down so it could fit on a webpage, the original was meant to be printed after all.
