But in San Antonio, today we've had an extremely windy day with gusts up to 54mph. This is extremely bad for us, because everything is extremely dry. So there have been tons of fires and power outages. I'm lucky though. No power outages or fires, but I've heard fire engines all day long and it makes me wonder where are they going and how close is the fire?
Fortunately nobody came by knocking on the door telling me I had to evacuate in a hurry, since where I live is just some slight hills. There's brush outside the subdivision and that can spread fire easily, but there no wooden roofs around here. Still a fire going through here would be very bad.
There doesn't seem to be any high winds forecast for tomorrow, which is good. If there was another day of that, well that would be another day of blackouts and fires.
So long story short, I am perfect safe and sound, just had to listen to an ill wind that blew no good all day long.
