For anyone who has read my fanfic Synesthesia, knows Penny has the world's smallest pantry, basically a shallow dent with a door with shelves going up, that can only hold your average can of soup. Not a big can of soup, just about the size of a small can of soup.

That was based off my Grandparents' actual pantry. It truly was the world's smallest pantry. All the other self-proclaimed world's smallest pantries... those are bigger than my Grandparents' pantry.

Picture it. You see a door. You open the door and are greeted by shelves of soup and vegetables, but they are only in one row and nothing is behind them. They're small cans too, because if you put large cans on there, you couldn't possibly close the door. It really was a shallow dent with a door with shelves going all the way up. Somehow it felt right that Penny should have that pantry.
[livejournal.com profile] chocolate_frapp gave me five questions to answer. If you want five questions of your own, you only need to ask.

1. Since I'm both a feminist and a mythology geek, I'm curious, are you named after the mythical Lilith? or Frasier's ex?

The mythical Lilith. I'm a real mythology geek. It started out with Greek mythology, but it soon branched out into Roman, Norse, Japanese, West African, Inuit, Babylonian, Jewish, and various others. I'm no scholar by any means. It's just something I'm interested in. I still need to pick up a book to remind myself of the various relationships between all of the Gods and mortals and myths, since some of them can get into I am my own Grandpa territory.

2. Name your favorite Who song...

Tough one. As great as Behind Blue Eyes, I really like Armenia City in the Sky. And if you pick Behind Blue Eyes, then you have to you like it more than Baba O'Riley, which was equally as good. And that's also ignoring that the fact that Tommy was a generally solid album. So, yeah, for me, it's hard to pick a favorite anything, especially when my quote unquote favorite changes based on mood.

3. ...and your favorite Billy Joel song.

It's the same with The Who. Don't have a favorite song. Have favorite songs. I've always liked Miami 2017 (Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway), especially after hearing the backstory on the thing. As for some of my other favorites (from my iTunes list as well) ahem... You're Only Human (Second Wind), Don't Ask Me, I Go to Extremes, The Longest Time, Waltz No. 1 (Nunley's Carousel), Leave a Tender Moment Alone, Keeping the Faith, You May Be Right, Keeping the Faith, Why Should I Worry, Allentown, Captain Jack, The Ballad of Billy the Kid, Only the Good Die Young, New York State of Mind, Big Shot, and Honesty. Whew. So, yes. I do love the music.

4. I've been reading some of your fanfic and i like it a lot. I was intrigued by "Mindtrip". Do you know anything about lucid dreaming?

Si. A lucid dream is a dream in which you are very much aware that you are in a dream. Unfortunately, most fanfic writers mistake that with dream control. Had lucid dreams before. In one, I tried to wake myself up by pinching myself. It didn't work and I wound up embarrassing myself.

5. i realize San Antonio is a bit of a drive from Austin but next time I'm there would you like to meet up IRL?

Sure. It sounds fun. It's not that much of a drive depending on where one lives and for me, it's not that much of a long drive. For me, a long drive is like three hours. Even if there is a great joke in there about taking forever to get anywhere in Texas. But you'll find I'm a real guru with directions. So, have you ever been to Alamo Drafthouse?
