Writer's Block: Set the Scene

Computer labs. People seem to feel the need to look over your shoulder at whatever you're writing. Plus the computers there are crappy and the keyboards are crawling with germs. You think people are prudent about washing their hands after they sneeze or to the restroom? No. Plus the mice are horrible and set up wrong and the chairs are uncomfortable. And none of the settings are right, but there's no way to adjust them. They all over make me feel wrong and nervous.

I see myself as a ferret in a former life (who said we had to be human or famous?), really. I mean I'm prone to stealing food from others, I'm rather long in body, and I've obtained the human equivalent of ferret "dead sleep". Because of that people mess with me when I go to sleep, because I'm such a deep sleep, I won't wake up. Plus I love my sleep. Really, was mankind meant to wake up before noon? Think about it.
